How to find us?

You can find our hostel with the following public transportation:

Metro 2 - red line (Kossuth tér)
Metro 3 - blue line (Nyugati pu))
Tram: 2, 4, 6 (Pest side of Margaret bridge)
Bus: 6, 26, 91, 191 (Szent István körút)
Night bus: 914, 923, 950 (Szent István körút)
Train from the Airport Terminal 1
Bus #200 and Metro 3 from the Airport Terminal 1, 2

You have to get to Jászai Mari square (Jászai Mari tér) on the Szent István körút (ring boulevard), just before Margaret Bridge. Balassi street is parallel to the Danube, opposite McDonald's. If McDonald's is on your right, then pls turn left on to Balassi Balint street. Look for number 27. Press doorbell. '53'

General info: public transportation from train stations, bus station or airport

Tickets are sold at the metro stations or at kiosks (about 290 HUF or EUR 1.20). Pls validate your ticket at the machines at the entrance of the metro. If you transfer from one metro line to another, or from a bus to a metro, etc, you need a separate ticket for each ride. For trams, you can validate your ticket after boarding the tram. You can't buy tickets inside the metro car or tram car. You can't take bicycles on the metro/tram/bus.

at NYUGATI(Western) train station?

walk down about 10 min on the Szent Istvan ring boulevard towards Margaret Bridge or take one stop by the tram 4 or 6 and get off at Jászai Mari tér. When you are about to reach the bridge, take a left on to Balassi Bálint street. The hostel is number 27.

at KELETI (Eastern) train station?

take the red metro line to the direction of Déli pu and get off at 'Kossuth Tér' (4th stop). From there walk 10 mins (on the double 5 mins) to the direction of the Parliament following the tram 2, towards Jászai Mari square or take the tram 2, and go two stops. The hostel is number 27 on Balassi Bálint street.

at DÉLI (Southern) train station?

take the red metro line and get off at Kossuth Lajos square (3rd stop). From there walk 10 mins (ont he double 5 mins) to the direction of the Parliament following the tram 2, towards Jászai Mari square or take the tram 2, and go two stops. The hostel is number 27 on Balassi Bálint street.

at NÉPLIGET Bus station?

take the blue metro line towards Ujpest-Kozpont and get off at Nyugati Palyaudvar. Walk down about 10 min on the Szent Istvan ring boulevard towards Margaret Bridge or take one stop by the tram 4 or 6 and get off at Jászai Mari tér. When you are about to reach the bridge, take a left on to Balassi Bálint street. The hostel is number 27.

at AIRPORT Ferihegy T1?

take the train to the Nyugati (western) railway station, get off at the final stop, takes probably 12-16 minutes. Walk down about 10 min on the Szent Istvan ring boulevard towards Margaret Bridge or take one stop with the tram 4 or 6 and get off at Jászai Mari tér. When you are about to reach the bridge, take a left to Balassi Bálint street. The hostel is number 27.

at AIRPORT Ferihegy T2?

Take the 200 bus to Kõbánya-Kispest, which is the final stop. Take the blue line metro till Nyugati Pályaudvar (Western Railway Station), which is the 12th stop. Walk down about 10 min on the Szent Istvan ring boulevard towards Margaret Bridge or take one stop with the tram 4 or 6 and get off at Jászai Mari tér. When you are about to reach the bridge, take a left to Balassi Bálint street. The hostel is number 27.
